I helped a friend swap truck boxes, He’s making one beater out of 2.  Same year and similar trim Dodge trucks.  We didn’t even notice until it was swapped that the door was a different 2 tone. Now it has 5 tones.   It’s got a janky fender too so at least six colours before it goes to its new people.   These aren’t worth painting but he can always sell a truck that runs and stops with working turn signals and maybe a radio.  All one colour is not really a factor at this price point though.

My current dodge/jeep has the modern black plastic version, I never have to worry about them coming off in my hand. My kids think they’re weird but they also find crank windows fascinating.
